6 Unique Experiences To Have In London

There's no denying that London isn't full of world-class, famous landmarks and attractions. If you're visiting London for the first time it's unlikely you'll miss seeing Big Ben or Buckingham Palace. However, if you've already been to all of the classic spots like the London Eye and Tower Bridge, here are six incredible experiences to have in London:

1. Go to the Theatre:
Going to the theatre with family and friends is always such a lovely experience and London has so many options to choose from. There are the classics such as The Lion King and Wicked, or there are smaller performances such as The Play That Goes Wrong. A personal favourite of mine was Mamma Mia The Musical - everyone in the audience was signing along.

2. The Crystal Maze Experience (photo source here as no phones are allowed)
If you're looking for something different to do with a group of friends (or even your colleagues like I did!) the Crystal Maze Experience is a really good option. Within your team you complete fun challenges testing different skills in return for crystals. The more crystals you win... the more time you get in the final dome!

3. Harry Potter Studios
For any Potter fans out there, visiting the Harry Potter Studios on the outskirts of London is a must. You can wander through the sets of the Great Hall and Diagon Alley, and you can see many of the props and costumes used in the movies. If you fancy it, you can even taste butterbeer.

4. Madame Tussauds
If you still fancy being a little touristy, head over to Madame Tussauds. Sure, there are galleries all over the world, but the London branch is one of the originals. Check out waxwork figures of your favourite movie stars, pop icons and even the royals.

5. A Chocolate Making Experience
If you fancy an evening full of chocolate and prosecco, Hotel Chocolat's 'Bean to Bar' Experience might be perfect for you. You get to spend an hour and a half learning how to make chocolate (with plenty of samples!), and then you get your homemade chocolate and a goody bag to take home with you.

6. Climb the O2 (photo source here)
Get kitted up in a body suit and harness, and climb up and over the famous O2! People of almost all fitness levels can do this, and you get amazing views of London when you reach the middle.
