Top Of The Rock, NYC

As much as I loved the Empire State Building, nothing compared to the amazing experience of Top of the Rock, an observation deck at the Rockefeller Center. With an ordinary entrance ticket, or by using a NYC CityPASS, you get access to three different floors perfect for admiring the view. The 70th floor, the top level, is completely open and allows you to take as many unobstructed photos as you like. Comparing this to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building where it's surrounded by criss-cross barriers making it difficult to take that perfect photograph.

One of the things I loved most about Top of the Rock though was how much space there was to walk around and admire the views. There was no pushing or waiting around to take a photograph like there was at the Empire State Building. It was far less busy and a much calmer experience. In addition, because we weren't physically in the Empire State Building, it could be in our photographs. Why be in a cool building when you could be outside actually looking at it? I found the views to be better as well as you get a much clearer view of Central Park.

Without a doubt if I had to pick just one to visit it would be the Top Of The Rock!
